For the TotalFinaElf group, there is the creation of the brand-new TotalFinaElf in Belgium website (the first after the merger of the three entities). A spectacular site with its architecture based around a virtual city modelled in 3D and animated in Flash. After having built the Internet site and the Intranet site for the group’s Petrochemical division (based in Brussels), Emakina began work on the “Market Research”, “Polyethylene” and “Contract Knowledge Sharing” sections of this Intranet. Many other developments are in progress or scheduled to take place over the next few months.

For D’Ieteren, Emakina has totally revamped and upgraded the www.seat.be site in record time (less than a month!). The brand is now the first in the group (and the first in Belgium) to offer each of its dealers a personalized site showing all of the content from the importer’s site, from the Car Configurator to leasing solutions and including model pages!

Emakina has created two new web applications for the Glaverbel.com site: a photo gallery and a recruitment manager. The Glaverbel group, floated on the Euronext, has as its main activity the production of flat glass. It has a strong position in the industry in europe and worldwide business network. Emakina created the original site for Glaverbel and has continued to support the transition to an e-enabled group using internet and intranet. Emakina has just released on the Glaverbel global site a highly sophisticated web-based job vacancy and CV management system. This innovative web application includes tools for syndicating job offers (Intranet, internet, XML, RTF, PDF …), tracking candidates and CVs and the complete management of users (internal and external). It’s multi-country, multi-company and multi-lingual. And all this packaged within a well designed, user friendly interface for both site administrators and visitors. Subsequently we have developped a photo gallery where users can browse working examples of the products they’re interested in.

An original presentation for the SWIFT annual report.
Emakina has Flash animated SWIFT’s latest annual report, which means that an annual report can be sexy at long last. This is a first in the banking world. Let’s remember that Emakina was also responsible for the graphic layout of the whole www.swift.com website.

For the third time, Emakina is running the Accenture Treasure Hunt game. This year on Media Moguls players have to manage and build portals. Emakina has designed an engine which generates these portals on the basis of the choices made by the player, who draws on the sources of content and chooses a look. A series of algorithms assess the value of the companies on a fictitious market and the winner will be the portal with the highest marketcap. Please note that this game is only available to university students, not to Belgian media magnates who manage real portals

Emakina is building the new Cora site. A site updated every week with new promotions.
S.A. Cora Belgique, the owner of seven shopping centres in Belgium, operates seven hypermarkets. An ambitious, innovative site offers a complete introduction to the company: every week a selection of the best Cora offers which have already been published in advertising leaflets on paper are uploaded. This tour de force is possible thanks to a distributed Content Management interface developed by Emakina. As the general public is not yet ready to do its shopping solely by e-commerce, the Cora site allows people to prepare for their trips to Cora by creating a proper online shopping list with the best current promotions.

After the success of the In a Coca-Cola and Play and Win message promotions, the superb Coca-Cola.be site, which is the jewel on the crown of Emakina’s projects, has had 2 new promotions added. The first of these, jointly with Mobistar, means that exclusive logos and ringing tones can be received free of charge on your mobile phone and you can buy Tempo cards at a reduced price. The second is linked to the release of Harry Potter.
