For Skoda, Emakina has undertaken the integration of the brand new Superb into the rest of the site. A management interface has also been implemented to autonomise the management of the content of the various sections of the site.

Emakina is assisting Porsche with the campaign for the international launch of their future model (the Cayenne) by providing them with an intranet for the management of replies to forms sent to VIPs. Emakina is also working on the creation of a dealers’ extranet for the prestigious Stuttgart brand.

In addition to the modules specific to the 2002 Salon, an accessories extranet enabling orders of pieces and accessories has been launched for D’Ieteren Sport.

After the total revamp of the SEAT site, Emakina also undertook the integration of the Let’s Move modules (www.letsmove.be). Specific presentations were created for the occasion of the 2002 “Salon de l’auto” (car trade fair) and Emakina is currently working on a dealer location facility entirely in Flash.

Emakina goes head with the addition of a lot of sections to the VolksWagen site. Adaptation and integration of the Let’s move modules (www.letsmove.be) such as the calculation of fines and vehicle tax: creation of a VR (360°) module in Flash for the launch of the new Polo and the Passat W12.
The administrator of the site at D’Ieteren now has a management module for mailing (eNews) that allows him to advise subscribers of new services available on the site, news regarding the product range and various brand-related events.

The Audi and VW extranets have seen the addition of a module that is completely administrable that allows dealers to dynamically generate the brochures of their salespersons in PDF format.

This version also integrates a dynamic glossary creating a hyperlink for each term contained in the data base of the site in order to help the visitor to understand technical terms and modules for the calculation of financial services (financing, leasing, credit etc.).

Kraft Foods Benelux was experiencing communication difficulties between the Belgian and Dutch sites, and their various department. The solution was found through the construction of an intranet company portal facilitating information flows between the different locations and communities of interests.
The solution developed by Emakina involves the dynamic management of content, document management, personalization on the basis of language and community, and a site structure that can be adapted by the user.
Thanks to this portal, users are able to retrieve information using search engines, publish documents, news, find pictures in the media library and even draw up shopping lists.
The site has been on-line since October…

Emakina has recently worked on the launch of the new site for VW Utility Vehicles. A complete revamp in line with the VolksWagen site, this site benefits from ingenious tools that include a directory of subcontractors, FAQs focused on utility vehicles, etc.

Emakina’s e-business consulting department executed a mission for the e-business department of Electrabel. The purpose of this mission was related to Web Content Management’s implementation.

Its very comprehensive content explains and illustrates very clearly what an e-business agency is: methodology, structure, glossary, strategy…. In addition to its well laid out graphics and its original and versatile interface, it has the novel aspect of being dynamically generated according to the profile and the industrial sector of the visitor. In particular, the design, the homepage, the references, the news and the contacts sections will be personalised.
The site is fully managed by a Web Content Management house which enables the publication of projects, websites, achievements, case stories, news; the management of users, clients, staff, partners and competitors; the creation and management of newsletters; the automatic sending of e-mail shots; the publication of employment opportunities and the tracking of CVs.
Lastly, an extranet access enables Emakina clients and staff to access a personalised homepage by user. This system permits the publication of live sites on personalised homepages, the development and staging of clients and personalised messages. With a simple click, the user can bookmark the pages of the site or useful URLs. Clients also have access to a free tool to send signed SMSs, a directory of staff and their ‘Project Site’ containing a forum system, a tool to manage tasks, manage approvals and sending files.
Overall, a good demonstration of the possibilities of a website, an instance of putting what we advise into practice, something which is not always the case of sites in this sector ; -)
