The house that Emakina built

In november 2005, we started building an ideal house (called “Maison Energique” in French, “Energiek Wonen” in Dutch) for Electrabel. Month after month, our team has added new rooms, improved the VR engine stability and developed an interface with a “2.0″ taste. Today, we’re proud to announce that our work is over (we even put the unmissable gnome in the garden, see picture below). Everybody can enter this house to learn how to reduce his/her energy consumption but, after a limited amount of time (5 minutes), you need to become an Electrabel client to get full access.

Special “easter egg” for our blog readers: go into the hall and click on the shoe to see all the Emakinians involved in this project ;-).
