Website and Newsletters for Flammarion

Monday, March 31st, 2008

Design, integration, CMS deployment, newsletters and promotional contests management: our collaboration with Flammarion, a giant of French-speaking publishing business, is a good demonstration of the “full service” approach which is at the heart of Emakina’s philosophy. To be pointed out: the implementation of Mediasphere, a custom-made content management system specifically dedicated to the publishers market. This ColdFusion toolkit helps our client’s crew to maintain the main hub as well as the websites of other brands under the Flammarion umbrella: Casterman Jeunesse, Casterman BD, Flammarion Enseignants

New website for Keytrade Bank

Tuesday, March 25th, 2008

As the very first 100% web-based banking institution on the Belgian market, Keytrade Bank (a subsidiary of the Crédit Agricole) appointed us for a global overhaul of their website in order to improve the service segmentation and raise the visitor/customer conversion ratio. After a long work on user experience to better highlight Keytrade’s financial products and services, we launched this new version a few weeks ago. If you’re a Keytrade Bank customer, we’d be curious to get your feedback about this revamping.

Madame Pipi Gets an IAC Award

Wednesday, March 19th, 2008

Remember: last October, Emakina improved the life of millions of Internet users by launching I Need To Go, the first website where you can relieve yourself without spending a penny (to coin a phrase). Gents or ladies, whatever your business, I Need To Go is always free and, on the way out, Madame Pipi has even a little surprise offered by ING bank

Today, we have the pleasure to announce we’ve won the Best Bank Rich Media Online Campaign of 2007 at the IAC Awards. Organised by the Web Marketing Association in the United States, this competition rewards each year the best interactive campaigns of the last 12 months at a worldwide level. A huge distinction for the smallest room on the Internet ;).

New website for IBBT

Monday, March 10th, 2008

IBBT (Interdisciplinary Institute for Broadband Technology) is an independent research institute founded by the Flemish government to stimulate ICT innovation. It brings together companies, authorities and non-profit organizations to join forces on research and development projects like Mobixx, the spin-off I recently wrote about.

Last week, our teams launched the brand new IBBT website. As good information design was central on this project, we organised several workshops in collaboration with the CUO (Center for Usability Research) in order to optimize the user experience towards the several IBBT target groups, including the disabled (the website is compliant with the “any surfer” label).

A joint collaboration Emakina / The Reference and our third major project with Drupal as Content Management System.
