Electrabel Smart Energy app now featuring: Smart thermostat

Winter is here. We know it because our streets are beautifully decorated for Christmas, because we are slowly hibernating into pre-holidays mode, and because the temperatures are dropping and it’s getting prrrrrety damn cold!

The challenge is to stay warm while keeping energy consumption as efficiently low as possible. A new revolutionary feature of the Electrabel Smart Energy app is here to help. Emakina’s digital experts joined forces with Electrabel to deliver a state-of-the-art tool for controlling and programming domestic heating from wherever you are! It thus turns any mobile device into your home-heating remote control!

The smart plug application already allows monitoring energy consumption of appliances connected to energy plugs. Since the app was launched, Electrabel customers can switch on and off their appliances from a distance and even monitor their consumption on an hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis (with beautiful graphs…).

The same easy and smart management now includes your heating system. With the standard heating modes provided, you can go for pre-programmed scenarios (like vacation). The new app works on both smartphones and tablets, compatible for  Android and iOS –based systems.
