Keytrade Bank recruits 700 new customers thanks to Emakina

Tuesday, May 20th, 2008

One month ago, we launched a “members get members” campaign for Keytrade Bank, a Belgian subsidiary of Groupe Crédit Agricole. The core principle of this action relies on sponsoring: as a Keytrade Bank customer, you are prompted to invite your friends and relatives to open a bank account at Keytrade Bank. For every person who becomes a Keytrade Bank customer, you and your friend receive 20 euro on your respective Keytrade Bank accounts. Of course, the more new members you sponsor, the more money you get.

After four weeks, this mechanics has already garnered 700 new customers for Keytrade Bank without using any other channel than pure word-of-mouse. And it’s not over yet as this campaign is still running until May 27th.

Madame Pipi Wins A Webby Award

Tuesday, May 6th, 2008

We did it. Or let’s rather say: you did it. Thanks to the public voting, “I Need To Go” (aka The First Toilet of The Internet) has been elected as the People Voice’s Winner in the “Rich Media Advertising : Business To Consumer” category at the 12th Webby Awards, probably the most prestigious distinction in the Internet world. Wow! Definitely a tremendous recognition (the 3rd one at these Webbies after our two special mentions for Wrangler Europe) for this campaign that has attracted more than 400.000 visitors so far.

Our special thanks to all of you who helped us receive this Award by giving their voice to this project.

- Aside of our nomination for “I Need To Go” (don’t forget to vote for Madame Pipi!), the Webby Awards have also selected our agency as “Official Honoree” in the “Fashion” and “Best Use of Video and Moving Image” categories. Both distinctions go to the European website of fashion brand Wrangler whose Fall/Winter 2007 collection made a very impressive use of 360° video to present the new outfits in every aspect.

- We’ve also got this week a “Best in Class” (highest distinction) in the B2B category at the Interactive Media Awards. Once again, the winner is Join2Grow, our social networking platform designed for banking institution Fortis. This innovative, pioneering project receives here a 5th significant recognition since its official launch in February 2007.

During two years of intensive work, a special effort has been put in improving usability and user exprerience through an extensive research process that included a.o. sector benchmarks, visitor scenarios, interviews conducted with several user groups, eye-tracking on customers panels and definition of KPI that will measure the success of this new website in the future. Check out the result here and, as usual, don’t hesitate to share your advice with us in the comments.
