During the last seven days, Emakina Group network has received not less than 4 awards granted by juries of advertising industry professionals.

At the WebAward, Emakina got the following distinctions:

After the Night Of (e-Publisher of the Year), the CMS Awards (Best Design Gold) and the IAC Awards (Best Rich Media Campaign in the Automobile Sector), it’s already the fourth trophy garnered by this project.

- “B2B Standard of Excellence” and “Online Community Standard of Excellence” for Join2Grow, the entrepreneurship social network we manage for banking institution Fortis.

Last but not least: in The Netherlands, our friends of SunTzu have won a Gold at the Emma Awards. This prize highlights the weekly newsletter sent to the 150.000 registered users on the Life & Cooking platform. Check out this page on the SunTzu website to learn more about this loyalty programme our Dutch colleagues successfully manage for Unilever.

User-generated campaign for Windows Live Messenger

Monday, June 25th, 2007

“Je wordt er niet dik van, maar ‘t is wel vet!”

This the (untranslatable) tagline of a new action to promote usages of the well known Windows Live Messenger from Microsoft. The concept: submit a personal news to public voting through a tab in your instant messaging client and, if your story reaches the Top 10, you will have the chance to be broadcasted on the Dutch station SkyRadio. The tab is only available for the residents of The Netherlands but you can see it “live” at www.messengerjournaal.net (alternative solution: switch your country to “Netherlands” in the settings of your Windows Live Messenger account and you will get the tab as displayed below).

So far, about 900 contributions have already been sent by surfers. A successful user-generated campaign and the very first collaboration between Emakina and SunTzu on the same project.
