Up until 27 December, members of the interactive Yunomi.be platform can vote for their Yunomi Woman of the Year.
10 women, both Dutch-speaking and French-speaking, have been nominated. The section ‘Woman of the day’ gives a presentation of each of them. These 10 women have been the biggest source of inspiration to other women.
In January, the winner’s list will be revealed. On top of the title Yunomi Woman of the Year, they will get an award and a wellness package.
“For Yunomi, every woman has a story to tell and they get the opportunity to share their story on our platform. With the Yunomi Woman of the Year award, we hope to convince other women to share their own story and to become a source of inspiration to others”, explains Yunomi’s spokeswoman Michon van Doorn, Multi-Brand Platforms Manager of Unilever Benelux.
Yunomi.be was launched in June. Over 2 million women have visited the platform and over 750.000 reactions have been made online.

Zwan frankfurters have been a household name in Belgian homes for over 70 years. After a six-year communication stop, the brand wrote a pitch for its online activities.
Emakina won the race with a concept where Alex and Julie, the Zwan friends from the new television commercial, play the lead roles. Zwan.be offers brand activations throughout the year based on the theme ‘Real Moments, Real Zwan’.
Via social network sites Facebook and Netlog, Alex and Julie will start a relationship with the brand’s fans.
Surfers are asked to join in a big competition where they have to send in photos of ‘Real Moments’ they experienced with friends and family. Visitors of new website Zwan.be can then vote for the best photos. The winning photo will be the campaign’s image of ‘Real Moments are experienced with Zwan’ in 2010. The winner gets a games box that includes a Wii console.
The website also includes a making-of of the television commercials and the result of the opinion survey about ‘Real Moments’ carried out by InSites Consulting.
Emakina.NL, the Dutch agency of the Emakina Group, is responsible for the site’s concept, design, development and upkeep.

We rolled out this week Yunomi, the proud successor of the Life & Cooking platform that the Emakina.NL team has been running for years. Deployed in Belgium and The Netherlands simultaneously, Yunomi is a community by women and for women. Every day, users will find out relevant content that will help them to improve every aspect of their daily life: recipes, practical tips, ideas for the next holiday trip etc. Once registered on the website, you can react to the information, share your opinion with peers and even submit articles for your preferred section. Members can also collect Nomi’s, i.e. points you can trade for special gifts and exclusive events reserved to the Yunomi community.
Definitely one of the most ambitious projects we release this year and a great achievement for Unilever who accepted to follow us in this adventure after the success of Life & Cooking.

Our Dutch agency SunTzu announced today its transformation into Emakina.NL. Since they joined our network in April 2007, the folks at Emakina.NL have succesfully strengthened their collaboration with our other entities and demonstrated a strong added value in Customer Intelligence & Activation for prestigious clients like KLM or Unilever. This rebranding means an even deeper integration at the operational level and a significant extension of Emakina’s service offering in the Netherlands. Once again, we prove our ambition on the Dutch market and our commitment in building an integrated network of interactive agencies at a European scale. For further information, please check out the official press release in French or in Dutch.

“Je wordt er niet dik van, maar ‘t is wel vet!”
This the (untranslatable) tagline of a new action to promote usages of the well known Windows Live Messenger from Microsoft. The concept: submit a personal news to public voting through a tab in your instant messaging client and, if your story reaches the Top 10, you will have the chance to be broadcasted on the Dutch station SkyRadio. The tab is only available for the residents of The Netherlands but you can see it “live” at www.messengerjournaal.net (alternative solution: switch your country to “Netherlands” in the settings of your Windows Live Messenger account and you will get the tab as displayed below).
So far, about 900 contributions have already been sent by surfers. A successful user-generated campaign and the very first collaboration between Emakina and SunTzu on the same project.
