It was an evening of Emakina celebrations all around in Brussels last night, with Emakina Group scooping no less than 6 Awards at the 2014 IAB MIXX Awards. Three of its agencies received honours each in one domain; Emakina.BE two awards for ‘Web design’, Your Agency two for ‘Social’ and The Reference also two for ‘Optimised Websites’.

MIX2014The show begins…

Over 100 Emakinians had come to the DMF fair, Digital Marketing First. They saw Emakina in great shape, with an exciting presentation by its CEO Brice Le Blévennec, to be followed by the MIXX Award ceremony, held at the same venue. Here too, Emakina scored points, with 22% of the awards given to the participating agencies, making it a fun get together for the teams of the different agencies in the group.

Emakina.BE excelled in ‘Best Webdesign’, with the Gold Award for Education Above All. This visually striking website promotes the work of EAA, the Education Above All Foundation, a global initiative of HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser of Qatar. This important NGO website earlier received the prestigious ‘Website of the Day’ label; two gold and three Silver W3 Awards.

A Bronze also went to Emakina.BE for the ‘Starwood Luxury Collection‘, for its stunning visuals combined with user-friendly design and navigation, making this destination inspired experience for today’s global luxury travellers exceptional.

The Reference also celebrated two wins, in the ‘Best Optimised Website’ category. A first was a Bronze Award for the Flanders’ digital research centre and incubator iMinds website, combining design and smart storytelling.

The FIVB World Championship websites for men and for women received a well-deserved Silver Award. The FIVB project is a great proof of Emakina’s international capabilities: it is the result of intense teamwork uniting experts from Emakina.CH, Emakina.BE and The Reference. The websites for the tournaments in Italy and Poland are impressive in speed, precision and versatility, perfectly mirroring the top level of the volleyball action they covered.
